Nostalgia's Blog

Hello! I’m Nostalgia. I’ve been a big Japanese Music Fan since 2006 and was always attracted to how different it sounded. 
I took music through school, so I’ve dabble in other instruments, sang in choir, and performed with my school’s drumline. 
I still had an unfulfilled rock band dream, so in 2020, I picked up guitar to bring that dream to life, and found a full band in 2021.
I created this website to document the journey and share all I’ve learned along the way.  

In 2022, the  Chromatic Dreamers rookie anime cover band project achieved their goal of playing at a convention. 
In 2023, I started composing, producing, and releasing music. You can check my releases on Key2Nostalgia’s Music page.
Also in 2023, Band Project 2.0: Natsukashii Kumo was created and completed. More details on this page!

As of 2024, I’ve been solely focused on my faith and lost interest in secular things, like music and anime.
I’ve been recruited to play for a church plant in January as their first permanent musician. I’ve conducted interviews with Christian-Anime content creators and Japanese Christian artists to help spread the gospel to Japan/Otakus.
I’m also still writing Jpop-inspired Instrumental Christian music when I feel inspired ^_^
